What The Lost Lanes certainly do successfully  is celebrate creativity and passion in all its entity. The cherry-picked British designers who hold incredibly creative talent within their hands are given a platform and voice, something worth noting as incredibly important as the overwhelming of international stores are bearing pressure upon our home-grown talent.

Marcella Whylie

A favourite artist of mine on The Lost Lanes is Marcella Whylie, her love for illustration and drawing is perfectly captured in her work through the meticulous crafting, vibrant colours and striking designs.
Whilst boutiques and the hidden lanes of quirky markets are increasingly being swamped and overcome by the mass commercialism of high street stores, The Lost Lanes serves as a reminder to rediscover hidden gems, to discover something beautiful, meticulously handmade and crafted.
