Serebrova S/S'14: Digital

Serebrova, a distinctive enough name with heritage and tradition behind it, is  fronted 
by Ukrainian designer, Aliona Serebrova. With over 15 years of experience in the fashion
 industry and a known participant of Ukrainian and Moscow Fashion Week as well as
 being  a regular participant of Salon WHO'S NEXT Prêt-à-Porter Paris, Serebrova 
knows what classes as successful. 

"SEREBROVA" was founded in 2003 and is a recognised, developing womenswear brand
 showcasing the fusion between heritage, the contemporary and femininity. Aliona's career
 began with an array of victories at international fashion festivals  as well as designing 
for an Italian menswear line.



After presenting her collections in Paris, in Galleries Lafayette, Berlin and in Serbia, 
where she closed Serbia Fashion Week, Western buyers' attentions were being struck by
 SEREBOVA as one of eminent brands worldwide.

The designer’s sources of inspiration are wealth of ethnic and national characteristics of the 
world, heritage of ancient cultures in sculpture and architecture, inexhaustible colours of 
classical painters of the past and avant-garde artists of the present.

SEREBROVA presents 'Digital' as part of its spring/summer 2014 collection, an
inspired, ground breaking collection by numeric movement in clothes: using the materials
 tissue, décor and accessories, the numeric theme is recreated to reflect pixels and bytes,
 a innovative and creative measure when it comes to merging the virtual world with fashion,
 a not often explored upon consideration. Featuring spirals, blocked patterns, geometrical
 lines, the collection has a chilling and striking look all the while boasting the classic 
Serebrova fresh, contemporary heritage derived vibe. Aliona meticulously uses fascinating
  adornments which gives a real contrast to her work with the delicacy of silk chiffon and 
sharpness of leather and contrasting plastic coated cotton to implement the theme of the
 'Digital'. With a unique technique, Serebrova certainly emphasises valuable work and 
are creating wonderful pieces of fashion.
