A creative
initiative is always something to admire and be inspired by however when that
initiative is to tackle a worthy cause and cause a momentum for change in order
to celebrate success, that is something worth to take notice of.
In celebration
of International Women’s Day 2014, Divas of Colour is a ground breaking event
design to celebrate, unite, discover and empower women of colour through a
platform of celebration, recognition and awareness.
Held on the 22nd March 2014, it is an
event to certainly clear spaces in your diary for, book tickets and confirm
travel plans as well as flick through your contacts to see who would be
interested. Divas of Colour will be based in London, the capital of diversity!
You’ll get to opportunity to be exposed to talented, successful women, as a collection
of businesses, performers, models and designers will be showcased using their
identity and success to inspire! Being against domestic violence and
abuse against women in cultures will be discussed ensuring that this is an
event that will instill a momentum of change.
As well as an event of good acts and
inspiration, Divas of Colour will be raising funs for Glowing Future, a charity
that supports and gives advice to women who have suffered at the hands of
domestic violence.
